8. You may cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing to the address at the end of these terms and conditions. If you do so, you must immediately stop using the Website. Cancellation or suspension of your registration does not affect any statutory rights.
9. Entrants authorize the Promoter to enter their personal details into their database and to use the information in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subject to the terms of Privacy Policy.

Competition Entry

12. You must use a valid account to enter any competitions on the website (See sections 5-8)
13. Each Competition will require the Entrant to correctly answer a question. Failure to answer the competition correctly will void your entry, but you will still be charged entry fee.
14. There will be a maximum number of entries/tickets per Entrant, which will vary depending on each individual Competition. Details can be found on each individual Competition page on the Website.
15. To enter a Competition online via the Website, follow the on-screen instructions to:
    1. Select the Competition you wish to enter
    2. Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase
    3. Answer the multiple choice question
    4. Carefully read and confirm you agree to the Competition terms and conditions
    5. Provide your contact and payment details (for entry fee only)
    6. Your card payment will be electronically approved by the payment provider
    7. You will be contacted via email to confirm that your entry to the Competition is complete
16. All competitions will have free postal entry available, to enter you must complete the following:

Send an unenclosed hand written post card to: The Goblin Garage, Enfin, Pound Pool, Somerton, Somerset, TA11 6LZ with a first class stamp. Include details as follows: Name; address; date of birth; contact phone number; email address; name of prize/Competition you’d like to enter; and your answer for the Competition entry question. Postal entries must be delivered to The Goblin Garage before the close time and date of the competition. Failing this the entry will not be classed as valid. Postal entries are limited to one Competition entry per postcard, with the maximum number of entries per Entrant as detailed on each individual Competition page. An account will be created using the details given on behalf of the participant, this will include the creation of an online wallet for the purpose of online credit. Postal entries will be notified of valid tickets via email after the close time and date of the competition and entry list has been generated.

 

17. All entrants agrees that the ‘Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000’ for any goods and services purchased online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to any competition on this website.

 

18. The promoter reserves the right to refuse and entry or disqualify any incomplete entries if it has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened any of these terms and conditions.

 

 

Competition Prizes

 

19. Prize details will be listed on the competitions page of the website. The Entrant must make up their own decision through their own enquiries and legal advice before entering the Competition.

 

20. The Promoter will not provide any warranty or accept any valuation to the Prize or guarantee functionality in any way, shape, or form.

 

21. There will be no insurance, tax, or warranty that comes with the Prizes and the Promoter cannot be held responsible for the Prize or any costs it incurs once handed over to the Winner.

 

22. Delivery of the Prize to the Winner will be to an agreed United Kingdom address. The Promoter reserves the right to charge a delivery fee if the Winner wants to change the delivery address after the delivery has already been agreed upon, or if the Winner wants to have the Prize delivered to an address outside of the United Kingdom mainland.

 

23. The Prize is not negotiable or transferrable.

 

 

Promotion Periods

24. Each competition will run for a specified promotion period with the closing time and date of the competition defined on the competition listing. The competition can close before such time and date if the maximum number of available tickets being sold has been reached. Please see each individual competition on the website for these details.
25. The promoter reserves the right to extend the draw date of any competition in very exceptional and unavoidable circumstances beyond our control which make it necessary to do so, if for any reason any aspect of the competition is not capable of running as planned, whether this be due to examples of network failure, suspected online tampering or any cause beyond the control of the promoter which corrupts or affects the administration.
26. The promoter reserves the right to cancel a competition at any time, either before or after tickets have been sold, and refund entry fees to the entrants as required. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time window, and once processed the promoter shall have no further liability to the entrant.

Competition Prize Draw

27. The prize draw details will be listed on the competition page when the listing is created, and we will draw the winner(s) at random on the closing date at the time stated under the competition on our website from those who have submitted correct answers only. Competition draw will remain the same as detailed on the competition page irrespective of tickets selling out.
28. Ticket numbers are automatically assigned upon purchase from the website. A list will be generated at the end of the competition, this list will be held by the promoter for the confidentiality of its competitors.

Competition Winner

30. After competition of the competition, the promoter will check the validity of the winning ticket against the database to ensure all details are matched correctly. If for any reason they are submitted incorrectly, the Promoter will not be held responsible.
31. The Winner will be required to show proof of identification, either a valid UK Driving License or Passport, on delivery of the prize. If these details do not match the information supplied on the database than the promoter holds the rights to retaining the prize. The Prize may not be claimed by a Third Party on your behalf.
32. If the Promoter is unable to contact a Winner within 7 days, the Winner fails to confirm acceptance within 7 days, or the Winner is disqualified as a result of contravening any of these Terms and Conditions, the Winner will forfeit the prize and there will be a redraw.
33. All competition winners are requested to send a photo, pose for photography and feature in videos, which may be used in future marketing and public relations by the Promoter in connection with the Competition, and future Competitions, and in identifying them as a winner of a Competition.
