Charity

We here at The Goblin Garage really want to be able to give back through our business, we strive to do this by making donations to charities and organisations that could do with a helping hand.

These charities will be selected by ourselves and winners on selected competitions, so keep an eye out for the opportunity to make a difference.

For further information on each charity, click the image and it will take you to their dedicated website.

Over 60,000 children in the UK have been diagnosed with a critical condition, changing their lives and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end, with treatment plans, hospital visits and sleepless nights taking over.

A wish revives a childhood stolen by critical illness. It brings light and joy to children and their loved ones and leaves a profound and lasting impact on all their lives.

FiSH – Friendship, independence, Support & Help for the older community of Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen. This charity was a suggestion during one of live draws, we are always happy to help local charities and support communities.

During a previous live draw we asked our watchers for a charity suggestion. Knaresborough Exotic Rescue was sent over and we reached out to make a donation. They are a rescue centre specialized in taking in all kinds of exotic pets. No appointments needed.

We reached out to our customers for charities they would like to see us support. We had an email from a customer Phil who suggested Canine Partners. Canine Partners is a registered charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs.

We wanted to share some happiness this holiday season by donating to the hard working people at the Salvation Army. Their Christmas Present Appeal helps support families who are struggling with the current cost of living crisis.

Ordinary People doing Amazing things! This is a line from the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club website. They organize fundraising events like Weymouth Beach Race to enable their charity to support the community in various ways. We were in attendance to the event this year and gave a donation to help support this great charity!

With motocross being close to our hearts, Jack suggested making a donation to the Jude Morris Foundation. The Jude Morris Racing Foundation was set up by the Morris family in conjunction with a group of trustees, to help provide a platform for aspiring riders. It aims to develop them, support them and bring an improved level of professionalism into youth Motocross with a view to developing a more professional level of rider and therefore raise the level of the sport, and help the sport become a serious sporting choice.

We were reached out to by Corporal James Kirby of the Duke of Lancaster’s regiment (LANCS) of the British army. He is running this very moving and worth while go fund me page raising money for Healthier Hero’s CIC, SSAFA Armed Forces Charity and BLESMA charity for limbless veterans. We were taken back by the story and made our own donation, if you can spare any money do please click the link and find out more about his story.

We were asked by the Major of Yeovil if we could make a donation towards the Majors Ball. We were more than happy to supply a £50 site credit for her to raffle off and raise money for SSAFA and Mind in Somerset.

We were approached by a customer asking if we could support a Go Fund Me Funeral Fund that meant a lot to him. We were more than happy to respond with a donation for a great cause and support a customer in return.

We are proud to have donated £50 to the Nationwide Association Of Blood Bikes! Their member groups are all staffed by unpaid volunteers, who provide this service to the NHS, free of charge.

We ran a charity competition alongside a set of Apple Airpods, this allowed the winner to nominate a charity of their choice for us to give a £50 contribution. Chris, our winner, nominated Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. As bikers ourselves, we felt this was a great choice for all the hard work and lives they save.

We are proud to announce our first donation to a charity. We have sent £50 to Mind in Somerset, this charity has a lot of meaning to us after losing a close friend and colleague. We have added a link to their website to the photo above, check out the link if you want to see the amazing work they do or if you need some help yourself.
